I have been preparing for this hill for over a year. Well, I postponed this climb for personal reasons. I"m glad that I made it today, just like that, unplanned. On the way up at 12% grade climb, when I shifted to the largest cog, the chain got stuck between the cassette and the wheel and I couldn"t pedal. I didn"t have time to take my foot off the pedal and boom. I was on the ground. Fortunately, I only injured my elbow. I thought about turning it down. But in the end, I decided to try to continue to the top. And I am glad I didn"t give up, because it was only a short distance from there, and I accomplished my goal and enjoyed the wonderful views from Braunsberg. The weather was pleasant and warm. Great ride today.
