What an unexpectedly adventurous day. The original plan to participate in a joint club ride did not work out, as Emily and I could not keep up with their pace, so we finally made our own route. During the ride to Hainburg, we met Filip from the Rege Stvrtky club, who we helped fix a puncture and a cut tire, and he managed to get home. 💪😉👌 We continued to Carnuntum, where we wanted to rest and have a snack break near the Heidentor landmark, but there we were surprised by a meeting of Austrian units (firemen, policemen, soldiers), who then continued in the common march. Every part of shadow was occupied there, since it was hot. 🤪🙈 At least we made a break in the shade of a tree. On the way back, we stopped at a view point of the Danube. Emily wasn"t feeling well from the heat, so we took short breaks along the way back until we got to the buffet, where we were looking forward to a cold kofola and something salty. We rested there. Emily didn"t feel well enough to continue the ride, so I escorted her to the tram to go home. I continued on my way home, when a downpour surprised me a little later. I waited for a while under the tree, but after a while I was wet and started to feel cold. The rain was no longer so strong, so I continued riding. After a while it stopped and even the sun came out again. A beautiful experiential day on the bike, I love it so much. 🙏😇👌
